OUR LICENSES

Outline Online offers various licences to cover the use of our typefaces online and IRL, for the most diverse situations. These licences include Desktop/Print License, Web Licence, Logo License, Social Media/ Ad License, Video/Streaming Licence and App/Game/ePub License. We also provide Trial Licences, Student Licences and Nonprofit License for organisations. To read about our licences in more detail, please expand the Outline Online EULA further down on this page.

Our licensing model is adapted according to the latest industry standard, which divides licensing tiers by the size of the company or organisation requesting fonts for commissioned design work. Licensing categories are constructed to function seamlessly for contemporary environments where typefaces are most commonly used. With this system, the responsibility falls on the client, who gains from the purchased licences. Designers are able to access the font free of charge when it’s used for the specific commercial project. This guarantees a clear, streamlined, and easy process for both acquiring and using the font.

LICENSE STRUCTURE

We offer a variety of licences designed for contemporary use cases, including Desktop/Print, Web, Logo, Social Media/Ad, Video/Streaming, and App/Game/ePub Licences. Our most commonly used options are the Desktop/Print License (OTF) and Web Licence (WOFF, WOFF2). The Desktop/Print License permits typefaces to be used for static printed, digital, and physical assets such as books, posters, and editorial or exhibition designs. It allows installation across multiple computers within the same organisation. The Web Licence covers usage on a single web domain and in email newsletters, with no restrictions on web traffic. For additional domains, separate web licences are required. A 20% discount is available when purchasing multiple licence types together.
